Before any new materials are installed, our team carries out a full inspection of your park home's exterior. Any sections of damaged or rotten timber are carefully removed to ensure a solid, safe foundation for the insulation process. This step is crucial not only for the longevity of the new cladding but also for protecting your home from future structural issues caused by moisture or decay.
Once the structure is sound, we install a robust 25x38 timber batten framework around the exterior walls. This framework forms the foundation for the insulation and cladding layers. It's expertly aligned to create a flat and stable surface, ensuring the finished exterior looks sleek and professional while allowing for proper ventilation behind the panels.
High-performance 25mm Celotex insulation boards are then fitted between the timber battens. Celotex is a premium-grade insulation that significantly boosts your home’s thermal efficiency, helping to maintain a comfortable indoor temperature year-round while reducing energy costs. This insulation also helps reduce external noise, adding a layer of acoustic comfort.
As part of the full cladding service, we inspect and upgrade fascias and guttering where necessary. New uPVC fascias and guttering are not only maintenance-free and long-lasting, but they also give your home a crisp, finished look that complements the new cladding. This step ensures proper drainage and protects your home from water ingress at roof level.
